Ordination
Spiritual Empowerment
Spiritually, ordination is a specific bestowal of energy that empowers and strengthens your awareness of your connection with the Divine, and your alignment with your life purpose. This is a moment of opening, a doorway, a passage into your new life that will manifest around this crystalline expression of your being.
In your graduation ceremony, as part of the celebration of your achievements in school and the path you intend to walk in the world, you take a vow of commitment to service with the Divine in love and joy. This is not a vow to any human being, or even any earthly organization. Its meaning is grounded in your living experience of higher consciousness, within you and witnessed by you in the unfolding of life, the dance and play of creation. This vow is taken along with other vows that you prepare, yourself, in accordance with your own sense of spiritual purpose and direction. A commitment to service with the Divine in love and joy is the common ground that all our seminary graduates share.
Legal & Social Status
Licensure: Our ordination is a useful alternative to some other licensure paths, such as mental health counselor, massage therapist, etc., that may not be available or appropriate for you for your scope of practice as a spiritual helper. (Outside the USA, licensing laws are different; please consult your local advisors regarding the legal benefits of ordained status.)
Insurance: This credential has a number of benefits, including help getting professional liability insurance at low group rates to cover some of your spiritual helping activities. Such insurance is sometimes required to teach at retreat centers, offer services in professional offices, etc., and is important if you have assets you wish to keep separate from any potential liability.
Socially, being in a diverse community of spiritual practice can expand your horizons and help you develop greater wisdom, insight, and tolerance. Having a group of other professionals with whom to dialogue provides fellowship and support.
Ordination Levels
There are three different ordination levels, Spiritual Healer Counselor, Minister, and Reverend Doctor, each level building on the preceding one.
